Nonprofit with 12k contacts, one person running email. Mailchimp free tier covers us. AI subject line suggestions are meh. Templates are fine. Integrations with our donation platform work.

I looked at Brew and Klaviyo. Both are overkill for our volume and budget. Mailchimp is not exciting, but it ships newsletters without a engineering ticket.

If we 3x our list or need agent workflows, we revisit. For now, boring wins.
